I don’t believe that grief can be accurately portrayed by watercolor florals or foil wedding scripts. That’s the picturesque, wishful version of grief, rather than the actuality of it. 

To me, the realities of grief require curse words,
My brother, Garrett, would have turned 34 today. He passed away in a car accident in 2008, when he was a senior in high school and I was a freshman. 

I’ve wanted to start a company like this since that same year.
